As part of its innovative strategies to accelerate stunting reduction, Yayasan CARE Peduli (YCP) is actively promoting gender equality and increasing women’s participation. This is achieved through various initiatives including trainings on Gender Equality, Gender-based Violence, and Women’s Leadership. The training was attended by 803 program participants – with 689 women and 106 men – from 3 sub-districts, namely: Sekongkang, Jereweh and Maluk sub-districts, West Sumbawa Regency (KSB).
The objective of these trainings is to improve the communication and leadership skills of women within their family, community and society to make decisions that contribute directly to the improvement of child health and protection.
The training is one of a series of capacity building activities from the “Stunting Reduction for a Resilient and Bright Future Generation” Program in West Sumbawa Regency.
