This is the story of Mrs. Jumiatun who is known by her nickname ‘Mak Tun’. Mak Tun from Bumi Kencana Village is a well-liked female figure in her village, known for her friendly demeanor and ability to be friends with everyone from diverse groups.
Mak Tun, a mother and grandmother, has been a member of the SIMPATI KENCANA Women’s Economic Business Group (KEUP) since the group was first established on 14 December 2022. As part of her membership, Mak Tun is able to do saving and loaning activities with the VSLA (Village Saving and Loans Association). The VSLA program at KEUP SIMPANI KENCANA is assisted by Yayasan CARE Peduli.
