PREVENTION OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND HARASSMENT IN SCHOOLS THROUGH THE SCHOOL SANITATION AND NUTRITION COMMITTEE

Share it with others

Looking at the increase in cases of sexual violence against children, PROSPER II has conducted training on the prevention of sexual violence and harassment, to build the capacity of teachers, school principals, and parents who are actively involved in the Sanitation and Nutrition Committee. Through this training, it is hoped that there will be an increase in understanding of the potential for sexual violence against children, and it is hoped that schools can build school-based prevention and response systems and mechanisms.
This program is considered very well by teachers and the government, and children are also expected to be able to recognize the potential and risks of sexual violence around them. Through this mechanism, teachers hope that schools will become a safe place for children. There is no tolerance for perpetrators of violence, and whomever the perpetrators are they must be dealt with in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
