Soul Sister for Managing Organic Waste

Indonesia generates at least 69.9 million tons of waste annually, with 40% consisting of food waste that ends up in landfills. The accumulation of organic waste produces methane gas, contributing to environmental pollution and climate change. Women play a vital role in managing organic waste, not only to reduce waste production but also to improve household economies.

CARE Indonesia, in collaboration with its partners, supports women’s groups across the country to manage organic waste. Through education on organic waste processing and maggot cultivation, we empower women to transform household waste into valuable resources.

Join us as a Souls Sister Managing Organic Waste to help create a cleaner environment and a healthier future!
